Recently we sat down with vocalist/guitarist Marty McCoy for a personal look at the rollercoaster ride of the band, keeping a positive attitude, pure love for rock music, and much more. TMR: Let’s start off by talking about the new record, “Anything That Moves.” Marty McCoy: Thanks for taking time to come see us. The band was formed by brothers Shawn "Beaver" McCoy and Marty McCoy, direct descendents of the McCoy family from the famous Hatfield-and-McCoy feud of the 19th century. Following up the success of their 2011 album Hell in My Heart, 2013 brought perhaps the band’s most astounding rock offering yet with Charlatan’s Web.

The Music Room: I’m here with Marty McCoy from Bobaflex. TMR: We’re getting ready for the big show tonight at Bogart’s. MM: Yeah, nice venue. West Virginia hard rock band Bobaflex combine classic rock & roll and nu-metal influences on a hard-charging sound that evolved after their debut. Man, thanks for taking time out to talk to us.
